Champa-The Amiya And B.G.Rao Foundation have organised Public Meeting and screening of a documentary on the subject:CONFRONTING HINDUTVA & ITS STRATEGIES on 15th December, 2011 at 4.30 PM at Indian Law Institute, Bhagwan Dass Road,(in front of Supreme Court), New Delhi. Shri Kumar Ketkar, veteran journalist and commentator and Manisha Sethi, human rights activist and President Jamia Teachers Solidarity Association will speak. A short film prepared by Samrendra Das on violence against christian tribal communities in Orrisa will be shown. A poster detailing the programme is attached.

Its a wonderful initiative in these difficult times for the progressive and rational people. The reactionary & imperialist forces have always been encouraging these fascist forces in the history, but the reality is that they have always been defeated by common wisdom and uprising of the people of this wonderful nation. Unfortunately these forces have gained power in some of the states in absence of positive movements against peoples’ miseries and day to day problems, as a result people like Dr. Binayak Sen or Mr. Sanjeev Bhatt are targeted by these forces in such states.
It is the responsibility of all the rational and secular minded people to raise their voice against such fascist forces by strengthening movements like this.
I wholeheartedly support this movement.
